At Somerset Woodworks, our mission is simple: to produce top-quality wooden pieces that reflect the values of our clients. We separate ourselves from others by employing traditional joinery and woodworking methods, using fine materials and finishes, and taking the time to understand our clients' needs and values.
Our interests lie in preserving the heritage of our craft. We are especially enthused about projects that involve historic pieces and properties. At the same time, our firm is dedicated to maintaining the high standards of yesteryear in contemporary and modern designs and constructions.

We work with our clients to achieve a design that pleases them. We can provide drawings to ensure that the design satisfies what the client has in mind.
Replications
Whether it is a piece that the client owns, or an image or design they have found, we reproduce an existing piece. If desired, we can make changes to the original design to perfect the piece for the client's needs.

Clients can come to us with a piece of furniture, moulding, architectural detail or other wooden element and we will repair and restore it to its original splendour. In doing this, we can preserve the value - be it monetary, sentimental, environmental or historic - of an existing piece.
